Amanda & Josh's Scituate/The Villa Wedding | Massachusetts Wedding Photographer

This past Saturday I had the privilege of shooting Amanda & Josh's absolutely perfect wedding day. Saturday also happened to be the 10 year anniversary of the Milton Academy prom, which Amanda went to with my brother! There is nothing better than shooting a wedding for someone I know personally. I've been lucky enough to get to know the Brophy family over the years and it was SO fun to photograph so many familiar faces - including my own family!!! Josh is the oldest of 16 children (that's right, SIXTEEN) and they all have the same huge, contagious smile that kept me laughing the entire day. Wait until you see how cute his little siblings are! A few highlights from the day: Watching Amanda & her dad walk down the aisle to Josh who had the most perfect reaction I think ever. I tried to play it cool but my brother said he could see me crying from his seat in the back of the church...

Rallying up the entire Gonya crew for their family photo. I've never photographed a family this big and it was so fun/they were so organized and amazing.

Listening to Amanda's maid of honor sing her speech, Aladdin style. Hands down the best MOH speech I've ever heard, everyone was cracking up.

And not to mention the epic dance party, cigar roller, ice cream bar... I'd say the entire day was a success.
