Wedding season is in full swing over here, which means I’m spending most of my week nights shooting engagement sessions and editing up a storm. Engagement sessions are the perfect excuse for me to spend time outside and explore new spots in Boston (& of course enjoy this perfect summer weather we’ve been having!). I forgot how much I love ending my days watching the sunset with my camera in different spots around town. Feeling pretty lucky these days!
I loved walking around the Arboretum with Hallie & Bobby this week. Hallie was the winner of our ALP Instagram challenge and it couldn’t have gone to a better couple. The Arboretum might just be my new favorite spot for engagement sessions. It’s HUGE but so quiet and peaceful. We barely saw anyone while we were shooting which is always a refreshing change from the crowded streets of Boston. Not to mention there is free parking… I have a feeling I’ll be making my way back over there a lot this summer.
I hope everyone’s having a great week! I’m super excited for this weekends south shore wedding and next weekends north shore wedding. Only two weeks left of teaching until summer vacation, not sure how that happened. Can’t wait for my 5 weddings in June (AH!) and a whole lot of traveling this summer.
