Casey & Adam's Walden Pond Engagement Session | New England Wedding Photographer

In college I was lucky enough to be offered a spot in a one time art, geology, history, & literature course called Walden and The Great American Landscape. This class overwhelmed and challenged me. It ended up completely altering my college experience and the way I looked at my education. It wasn't until I completed this course that this tiny, deep rooted idea that I could possibly create some kind of career that included all of my passions was born. I didn't know it at the time but this course changed me. It inspired me to create, to follow my dreams - whatever they may be. Since then I've gone back and read through my copy of Thoreau's Walden about a dozen times. My notebook from that class is the only one I've saved from college, and I keep a sticky note on my desk, scribbled with my favorite HDT quotes. Last week I was able to return to Walden Pond with one of my amazing couples to do what I love the most - create. It's pretty crazy to see how far that tiny, little root of an idea has come. I had no idea at the time what direction my dreams would take me post college, and I'm still so excited to see what the future has in store. With clients like these two, I'd say it's looking pretty good!
I was so happy to spend this beautiful fall afternoon with Casey & Adam. These guys are getting married next fall in Vermont at one of my favorite wedding venues, All Souls Interfaith Gathering. I am already so excited! Thanks for being so easy going and fun C&A. XO
